    FIRST Tech Challenge:

    Cameron, Katie, and Malorie - Bulldog Robotic Team 1 received the 1st Place Award for Control.  Students had to write computer program that would control their robot during the autonomous period of each round.   Team 1 also received the Alliance Award for advancing to the final round.

     2014 Fall Tin-Man Champions

     Malorie and Katie TinMan Champions  (SPC Photo/Wes Underwood)    ROBOT WARS CHAMPION – Members of the Digger’s Payback team from Plainview High School was crowned champions in the Tin Man XIV South Plains College Robotics Competition. The event was held Dec. 5 in Building Six on the SPC Reese Center campus. Shown are the winners, from left, Malorie Garcia, Katie Cox, and Roman Perez. The contest featured 17 teams representing students in the electronics technology program from three SPC campuses (Levelland, Reese and Plainview), five teams from Plainview High School and two teams from Brownfield High School.
