    Substitute Process Requirements

    All individuals interested in becoming a substitute teacher for
    Plainview ISD must complete the following requirements:
     
     
    Application Process
    1. Attend Testing: Fridays @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm                                                                                                     *This applies to applicants who do not have more than 30 college credit hours

                                     February 1, 2019

                                     March 1, 2019

     

          2. Attend Training: Wednesdays @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

                        * All Applicants are required to attend

                                   February 6, 2019

                                   March 6, 2019

     

    Applications will be handed out after step 1 & 2 are completed.  The applications will need to be completed in a timely manner and returned with all required documents.

    AESOP Substitute System  
     
    Aesop Substitute System is an online program that allows teachers to enter absences and request substitutes. Teachers can view and manage their absences, add classroom lesson plans and other files for substitutes. Self-help guides and videos are available online for training and assistance. Substitutes can check AESOP online for job postings or by calling 1-800-942-3767.
