My name is Darren Whalen and I have been a junior high teacher for 20 years.  This is my second year at Coronado Middle School and my second year teaching technology. I graduated from Texas Tech University in 1995, have been married to my wonderful wife, Shayla, for 20 years, and have two beautiful daughters.  Plainview is my home and I look forward to educating the next generation of Texans, who will need to be more tech-savvy than ever!
