The Plainview ISD Pathway to Teaching program provides tuition reimbursement of 3 to 6 credits per semester (fall, spring, and winter/summer terms) to eligible Plainview ISD paraprofessionals to support the completion of a Bachelor’s degree and teacher certification. All reimbursable coursework must be part of an education degree plan leading to teaching certification in the State of Texas.

An application for the path2teach program must be completed for consideration. Candidates are selected through the application process with priority given to Plainview ISD paraprofessionals currently enrolled at a 2-year college or 4-year university seeking a degree in education and teaching certification.
