Leslie Delgado

Mrs. Delgado is in her 7^th year teaching at Coronado Middle School.  She graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a Bachelors in Music Education.  She is a native of Plainview and is a PHS graduate.

She has directed various children’s musicals at First Assembly of God, here in Plainview.  She had the honor of directing the Children’s Chorus of Plainview.  Delgado has had roles in several operas and Broadway musicals herself, such as Lakme, Susanna in Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro, the baker’s wife in Into the Woods, and the Matron in Hairspray. 

She has experience working with students aging from early childhood to high school.

Delgado is a member of music organizations such as the Texas Music Educators Association and Texas Choral Directors Association.  She also serves on the Plainview Symphony Board and the Wayland Friends of Music Board.

She has been happily married to Jesse Delgado for 20 years.  They have four children together who also attend Plainview ISD.  Her hobbies include serving in her children’s activities, such as dance, band, choir, and piano.
