Hello, my name is Mark Franklin.
I graduated from Plainview High School in 2002 and that year made the TMEA Texas All-State Band on the Euphonium. I attended Wayland Baptist University and received a B.A. in Music and a M. Ed. in Instructional Leadership. I have taught at Coronado Middle School for the last ten years.
I am excited about the opportunities for learning, growth and success that our district provides and I hope to be a part of the Plainview Community for years to come.

I am married to Julia, and we have five children together. We attend Garland Street Church of Christ. I love to travel, camp, backpack, garden, read, talk politics and religion, and yes, play video games!
