    BOARD OF TRUSTEES

     

     
    Sylvia De La Garza, President
    Sylvia De La Garza was elected to the Board in May of 2008 and represents Precinct 7. She is married to Jeff. They are the parents of three daughters, two are PHS graduates and one is currently attending Plainview High School.
     
    Adam Soto, Vice President
    Adam Soto was elected to the Plainview ISD Board of Trustees in May 2002. Mr. Soto represents Precinct 1. He is a Plainview native and graduate of Plainview High School. He and his wife, Soley, have two children - a daughter attending Plainview High School and a son who graduated with the Class of 2014. 
     
    Cheryl Dickerson, Secretary
    Cheryl Dickerson was elected representative for Precinct 6 in May 2016. She and her husband, Larry, have two children, both graduates of PHS.
     
    Amber Bass, Member
    Amber Bass was elected to the Board of Trustees in May 2018. She represents Precinct 4. She is married to Rob Bass and they have three children who attend Plainview ISD schools.  
     
    Tyler James, Member
    Tyler James was elected a member of the Board of Trustees in May 2018. He represents Precinct 3. Tyler is married to Terra James. They have two children, one currently attending school in Plainview ISD.  
       
    JoAnn Rey, Member
    JoAnn Rey was elected to the Board of Trustees in May 2018. She represents Precinct 5. She is married to Rigo Rey, a teacher at Coronado Middle School. 
     
    Sofia Rivera, Member
    Sofia Rivera was elected representative for Precinct 2 in May 2018. She is married to robert and they have three children, one is a graduate of PHS and two are currently attending Plainview schools.
