     Anthonyh Gonzales
     
    Anthony Gonzales currently serves as the Director of Bands for the Plainview Independent School District.
     
    His responsibilities include director for the Plainview High School Honors Band, Director of the high school jazz band, and Director for the Powerhouse of the Plains Marching Band.
     
    Mr. Gonzales is also a low brass specialist for the Plainview ISD band program.
     
    While working at Plainview Independent School District, Mr. Gonzales is also currently serving as the brass caption head for the Western Vanguard open class drum and bugle corps as well as an active clinician, arranger, and adjudicator throughout West Texas and Eastern New Mexico.
     
    Mr. Gonzales’s bands have performed throughout Texas as well as in Florida, New York, New Mexico, Colorado, Chicago, California, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Arizona, and Mexico.
     
    Mr. Gonzales is a graduate of West Texas State University (now West Texas A&M) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. His professional affiliations include the Association of Texas Small School Bands, Texas Bandmasters Association, Texas Jazz Educators Association, International Jazz Educators Association, Percussive Arts Society, and the Texas Music Educators Association.
     
    He grew up in Clovis, New Mexico and is a graduate of Clovis High School.
     
    Mr. Gonzales is married to his beautiful wife, Paulina, and has three talented children Justine, Madison, and Raiden.
