Miss Licce decided to attend Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX, where she received a very personalized education.  During her years at Howard Payne, Miss Licce was invited to and joined the National Honorary Band Sorority, Tau Beta Sigma.  She served as Recording Secretary and Corresponding Secretary during these years.  For her Senior Recital, Miss Licce was blessed to have a piece of music composed in her honor.  Former Dean of Music and Fine Arts at Howard Payne University, Dr. Robert Tucker, offered to compose a piece for Miss Licce's Senior Recital.  Titled, "Illumination," this piece captured the lively and friendly nature of Miss Licce's personality.
