Jay Coleman Bio

Hello, my name is Mr. Jay Coleman and I am the Art Teacher for Estacado Middle School.   I enjoy my students very much, my career as an Art Teacher guarantees that I never have a dull moment, and I get to smile and laugh with my students each and every day. I am a member of the Plains Art Association in Plainview Texas.

I am a lifelong resident of Crosbyton Texas, and graduate of Crosbyton High School.  A graduate of Wayland Baptist University where I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Art Education and Physical Education.  Before coming to the middle school level, I began teaching at a Plainview Christian Academy in Texas, then spent 6 years at Plainview High School. I also serve Wayland Baptist as the art gallery coordinator.

I am married to a wonderful wife, Mary, and have been blessed with the most amazing children a father can have.
