    Clay Jones has been teaching secondary education at the high school level for the past 8 years. He holds a Bachelors of General Business degree from Texas Tech University and a Masters of Arts in Secondary Education degree from Lubbock Christian University. He is also a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society which is comprised of the top ten percent of all business students in the United States.

    Before coming to Plainview, Coach Jones taught and coached at Lubbock Monterey High School for 6 years. While there, he taught BIM, DIM, and Accounting. He was the Head Boys Track coach and served as the Co-Offensive Coordinator and Special Teams Coordinator for the varsity football team during his tenure.

    Currently, Coach Jones teaches Web Design, Accounting 1, Accounting 2, and World Geography at the high school. He also coaches track and is the Offensive Coordinator for the varsity football team.

    Coach is married to Lacie Jones, the assistant principal at Edgemere Elementary School. They have 2 sons, Cayden who is 2, and Bryson who is 1. We are extremely blessed and excited about being a part of Plainview and getting to work with so many wonderful students. Go Bulldogs!
